3000 saplings planted at Kaladwas in 4 hours

In a tree-plantation campaign organised by Kaladwas Chamber of Commerce and Industries (KCCI), 3000 saplings were planted by 950 volunteers in mere 4 hours. Saplings included varieties like Neem, Gulmohar, Mango, Tamarind etc.
Chaimbar President, Gopal Agarwal informed that 100 NCC cadets, 50 personnel from Army, Seva Mandir and Mahavir International participated in the programme. The volunteers were flagged off from the collectorate at 8:30 am in the morning by collector Rohit Gupta.
200 members of KCCI and their staff members and labourers also took part in the programme. This has been the largest plantation exercise in Udaipur. KCCI President took responsibility of ensuring the maintenance of these saplings.
Collector Rohit Gupta, Mayor Chandra Singh Kothari, Brigadier Patil and Thakur from NCC also participated in the campaign by planting saplings.
