Udaipur, April 9, 2025 - Dr Khushboo Arora, the founder of Dr Khushboo Physiotherapy Clinic, has been honoured for her significant case study which focuses on managing the quality of life for polio patients. She was felicitated at the 3rd International Physiotherapy Conference organised by the Sehat Saathi Fondation NGO on March 30, 2025.

This study is a collaborative effort between Dr Arora and Dr Arvinder Singh who is the CEO of Arth Diagnostics and is aimed at raising awareness among polio patients above the age of 40 and improving their quality of life. The paper submitted by them was titled "Restoring Independence: Managing Quality of Life in a Post Patient Using Advanced Physiotherapy Techniques".

The study demonstrates how specific physiotherapy techniques can help restore strength in the lower limbs of polio patients while maintaining the strength of their upper limbs. As a result of this patients are able to perform daily tasks more easily.

Additionally, these techniques help in strengthening the spine, making walking and movement easier.

This research brings new hope for people affected by polio, especially for those in the later stages of life.
