Action Udaipur – The innovative campaign to make the city greener and cleaner has successfully completed 50 projects since its inception.

During the project a number of beautification works including those of public parks, public lavatories, city roundabouts, industrial areas, drinking water stands, cremation centers and boundary walls were completed.

The campaign included plantations in public places, repairing of broken boundary walls and painting unattractive structures. Cleaning and renovating has been done with the help of administration and local public groups.

Residents, hand in hand with social service organizations, schools, colleges, business groups, employee unions, youth clubs, banks, taxi association, private organizations, government employees, women groups, colony committees, etc. enthusiastically took part in Action Udaipur initiatives.

District collector Ashutosh Pednekar informed that Action Udaipur started around three months back and the project was promoted massively through social media so that local people get connected with the cause.

21 public parks; 6 public lavatories; 9 government offices; 1 cemetery; 4 old city gates; 2 government school campuses; 4 public places (removing illegal posters); 2 public drinking water tanks (pyau); 2 Common walls painted; 3 government and private places (plantations)
