The public park at Amrit Nagar, Siphon received a facelift after local residents, under the Action Udaipur Project, renovated the area.

Sudhir Dave, coordinator of Action Udaipur spoke about the park located on Bedla Road, Siphon, and the deplorable condition it was in prior to the work that was done. According to him, the boundary wall had been dull and fragile, while the park itself was filled with unwanted bushes and garbage.

Under the direction of Dr. R. L Shrimal, former director of Vidya Bhawan Rural Institute, the residents of the area, most of which were women, took the initiative and pitched in by cleaning the park and renovating the boundary wall with paint.

Students of St. Paul’s, Vidya Bhawan Senior Secondary and Vidya Bhawan Public School were reached out to by Action Udaipur team, who made a short presentation in order to create awareness among students about the motive of Action Udaipur.
