A gathering was held at Shikshntar, an NGO at Fatehpura today at 5PM by Animal Aid, Udaipur in which all the animal lovers were invited to contribute and share the ideas on how the lives of animals around us could be made easier.

The meeting, which was led by Claire Abraham, Animal Aid was directed towards motivating and spreading the message of showing kindness towards animals and especially stray animals.

“At the Animal Hospital, Badi, around 20 cases are registered on a daily basis where stray animals are brought for treatment in pathetic condition, mainly because of being beaten by localites”, said Claire.

Volunteers were also asked to spread the message through meetings, flyers or other sources in their localities, so that more and more people could join hands to make the lives of animals better.

This was the sixth meeting of the genre, and Animal Aid conducts such meetings on the last Sunday every month.

They also discussed the plan on how they can help in rescuing and bring the stray animals for treatment.
