Often people think that if a dog in their colony has khujli that it is transmissible to humans, and they try to scare them away. But there is no reason for any person to be afraid of khujli. All the dogs need is medical attention and a helping hand.
This old dog was rescued after a very compassionate neighbor saw his poor condition and stepped forward to help by calling Animal Aid’s helpline. After Animal Aid rescuer, Nandu, gently picked up the old dog, the neighbor gave him a laddoo for good luck. How sweet!
He is now admitted in Animal Aid and receiving treatment.
