Members of Inner Wheel club udaipur today gifted “Mamta” baby feeding room at Udaipur railway station. The inauguration was carried out by club president Sheela Talesra, District chairman Sunita Jain, Secretary Devika Singhvi, StAtion Manager SC Verma and Vice President Asha Kunawat along with others.

Talesra said that Inner Wheel Club has launched a new project under the name of Mamta baby feeding rooms and the set up at city railway station is the start of the project. This room will also mothers to feed their babies without any trouble in a comfortable environment.

Talesra informed that the room provided provision for two mothers to simultaneously feed their babies. Each room has two tables along with light and fan. The room will remain open for 24 hours with one key being permanently placed at the door. Mothers may feed their baby and either put the key back outside the door or hand it over to station officials.

The feeding rooms will also serve the purpose of educating mothers about importance of feeding their babies. Talesra said that more feeding rooms may be established at a later date depending on requirement.
