The Dawoodi Bohra Youth community organized a blood donation camp at Bohra Youth Medicare Center. More than 100 units of blood were donated by community people including both men and women.

The community organizes Blood Donation under Bohra Youth Medical Relief Society every year in the month of Muharram to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Hussain, Grandson of Prophet Muhammad.

Anees Miyaji, spokesperson of the community informed that the blood donation camp was organized in two sessions, morning and evening. In first session, 121 units of blood were donated while second session will start from evening 7 to 9.

Update: 217 units of blood donated till late evening. Anees Moyaji informed that, the figure could reach 250.
