Team from Animal Aid risked their lives yesterday in order to save a Bull from drowning in Swaroop Sagar lake yesterday afternoon.
A bull was seen drowning near the new bridge at Swaroop Sagar. There was a huge crowd there owing to the Hariyali Amawas fair. However, no one could gather strength to go in and save the bull. A guy called Kundan called up Animal Aid emergency and informed them of the situation.
Rescue team from Animal Aid immediately rushed to the spot and organised for a boat. Rescue team members Kalu Singh and Jagdish boarded a boat that was anchored with a rope on the shore. Given the weight of the bull, the rescue team members had a huge struggle in maintaining balance of the boat. They however continued their struggle and after an hour of effort, finally managed to pull the bull out of danger on to the shore.
The other rescue members including Deendayal and others pulled the bull out of the waters.
