District Administration and Social Justice & Empowerment department, together organized a camp today at Jagdish Chowk Government Girls school to locate, certify and help differently-abled people.

District Administration and Social Justice & Empowerment department, together organized a camp today at Jagdish Chowk Government Girls school to locate, certify and help differently-abled people.

In the camp, various departments, including Municipal Council, Social Justice & Empowerment department, roadways, Women and Child Development department, employment department etc, set up individual counters to provide information and service.

Mandata Singh Ranawat, Deputy Director Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Udaipur informed that, awareness was created amongst the differently-abled people on several policies and schemes available for them, such as Astha Yojna, Sahayata Yojna, roadways bus-pass etc.

40 differently-abled people were provided with a disability certificate. Under Sanyukta Sahayata Scheme, application for tricycle, wheelchair and crutches were executed. Roadways department provided 30 buspasses and executed 2 applications for the scholarships, 2 for astha card and 6 for disability pension scheme.

Chairperson of Municipal Council Udaipur, Rajini Dangi took information from several departments and their schemes.
