A protest rally was carried out today against the recent rape of a five year old girl, who was first abducted by her neighbor and physically abused and tortured for three days.

Unlike other protests in the city, this protest was carried out by a group of 5 year old school girls resident of Odh Basti, Gandhi Nagar.

Girls marched through Town Hall- Surajpol- Bapu Bazar- Delhi gate and reached office of collector to hand him memorandum demanding strict and quick action against the accused.

The memorandum was handed over to Girwa Tehsildar Bhagwan Das.

A woman group Rajasthan Mahila Pragatisheel Federation and Vikalp Sansthan, an NGO protested at Mulla Talai circle against the heartbreaking incident.

Protestors made human chain around the circle and also organized street play to spread the awareness of growing crimes against women.
