Spreading the message of Healthy and Sanitized living in and out of residential premises, the Bohra community members along with the support of Burhani Guards and Hizb-e-Burhani Group did a Cleanliness-Drive in more than 9 localities of the Bohra community today morning.

In this social awareness drive, more than 52 members cleaned the localities of Moiadpura, Najam Marg, Vazipura, Dr. Zakir Hussain Marg, Ajanta Gali, Bastiramji Ki Bari, Mullatali, Khanjipeer and Fatehpura areas of the city.

This drive was initiated as per the implementation of the message, which Syedi Muffadal Bhaisahab, son and successor of Bohra Spiritual Leader Syedna Mohammad Burhannudin gave at a public sermon 15 days back where he said, “One should not only keep his home clean but also should look after the locality the person lives in and has in reach to sustain better and healthy living and mentality”.

The implementation of this Cleanliness-Drive was first started at Karachi, Pakistan and eventually reached Udaipur today.

The drive started at 10AM and stretched till 11AM.  Now, two volunteers in each of the respective colonies have been appointed, who will look after the cleanliness in the area and will instruct the ones who throw waste/garbage on roads.
