Lake conservators of the city have appealed common people to not to pollute the lakes of the city by dumping garbage and waste.

Citizens from groups like Chandpol Nagrik Samiti, Kriti Sansthan, Environment and Education Institute and Dr. Mohan Singh Mehta Memorial Trust jointly organized a lake cleaning program today at (Amarkund ka kota) Pichola Lake.

Tej Shankar Paliwal said, “The continuous act of polluting lakes cannot be stopped unless strict action is taken by administration. Some of the lake side areas are found with human waste and garbage.”

Nandkishore Sharma and other members of the committee suggested many ideas which could affect the present situation.

The team members selflessly contributed in the lake cleaning process as a part of their special program called ‘Sunday Shramdan’.
