CPI collects fund for Uttarakhand victims
Various social, private and government organizations have been providing financial support for the rescue and relief work being carried out at Uttarakhand after one of the biggest natural disasters struck Kedarnath and other parts of the state. Similar initiative was taken by CPI (M) in Udaipur today, in which they took out a rally and collected funds for the cause.

The rally passed through Surajpol, Bada Bazar, Mandi Ki Naal, Bapu Bazar before culminating at Delhi Gate. During the rally, party members asked for donations from general public and collected an amount of Rs. 42,574.
Party Secretary, Rajesh Singhvi said that thousands of unfortunate people died in Uttarakhand and many thousands are still missing. The money that was collected today will be send with the help of administration to be utilized there in the relief and rehabilitation of the victims, shrine and other places.
