With the twin objectives of encouraging Udaipurites to use cycle as well as to honour the Scottish cyclist Dennis Davies the Forest Department of Udaipur organized a cycle rally today morning.

‘Cyclothon’ covering more than seven kilometers, the rally started and concluded at Chetak Circle office of Forest Department.

The rally was started at 7 in the morning from Chetak Circle office of Forest Department and travelled around seven kilometres, passing through Chetak Circle, Moti Magri, Fatehsagar, Devali, Saheliyon Ki Badi the ride concluded back at Chetak.

Consisting of near about 15 cyclists including Dennis, Udaipurites pedalled across city areas and introduced Dennis to the local masses and the culture of Udaipur. Chanting ‘Cycle Chalao, Dost Banao’ (Ride Cycle, make Friends) the rally propagated its objectives at various places coming under the way of rally.

Dennis in its journey of more than seven thousand kilometres on Bicycle travelled across 12 countries and reached Udaipur on 2^nd December. Forest department extended their warm welcome to traveller.
