Charity Drive in Udaipur by Life Progressive Society
Life Progressive Society and Sahar Charitable Foundation distribute shoes, clothing to Mahatma Gandhi English School in Hiran Magri, benefiting 80 students
Udaipur, Dec 18, 2025 - Life Progressive Society and Sahar Charitable Foundation distributed shoes, socks, ties, belts and clothing to 80 children at Mahatma Gandhi English School, located in Hiran Magri, Udaipur. Yakub Ali of Shireen Garments also contributed.
Secretary of Life Progressive Society Fatima Agwani said all activities of the Society will commence from January 2026, including the launch of different training and employment programmes. Additionally, applications from needy families for Ramadan 2026 will be filed from January 15, as per the Society's rules.
She added that next month, the Society will ask for student evaluation report from all the colleges and schools where donations were made towards fees. Computers will be made available to the schools if required.
Society president Dr Khalil Agwani said an announcement regarding the Interfaith Marriage Conference would be made soon. He urged the public to come forward and contribute donations, aid or assistance for food and education to the needy.
Also present during the distribution programme were executive member Sajid Qureshi, former project manager Amreen Bano, Shanu Khan and Amjad Sheikh.
