A group of foreign tourists visited a government school in Neemuch Khera and donated stationery and other things to the school children. The program was coordinated under the banner of Foster Care India, an NGO working on child development.
More than 20 tourists touring around Rajasthan on motorcycle arrived at Government Middle School and spent time with the kids. The group gave utensils, which will be used for preparing food in school, a carom board, musical instruments, books and stationery items to the students.
Tourists who were mostly from Australia also donated a bed, fan, gas stove and other useful things to a financially deprived child.
Foster Care India’s volunteer Rajesh Sharma informed, “The group of tourists were contacted and informed about their mission. The group happily decided to contribute for the noble cause and also agreed to meet the students.”
One of the tourists from England said, “I found this tour special from many perspectives. I have been to India before but that was for leisure. This time it was different and a great experience meeting these children and contributing for them.”
After staying for more than an hour with students, the group proceeded to Ranthambore.
