Haat Bazaar ‘Sahyog’ organized for Underprivileged
A novel idea was put into action at Kachi Basti, situated at 100 ft road, Bhuwana where a Haat Bazaar was set up for the underprivileged people living in the nearby areas.
A novel idea was put into action at Kachi Basti, situated at 100 ft road, Bhuwana where a Haat Bazaar was set up for the underprivileged people living in the nearby areas.
The campaign titled ‘Sahyog’ was administered by engineer Phalguni Jain from BITS Pilani, Bangalore center who organized the bazaar in which clothes, shoes, spectacles, toys and artifacts etc. were displayed for men, women and children.
Selected at IIM-Kolkata, Phalguni said, “The aim for this Haat Bazaar is to bring happiness to the underprivileged people with sources that are unused by the upper class people. Having seen the positive response of this initiative in Bangalore, I organized it in Udaipur as well.”
Coordinator Rajshree Jain informed that the Haat Bazaar was inaugurated by Bhuwana Sarpanch Sangeeta Chittora who announced that such bazaars will be set up every 3 months.
The campaign was fully assisted by Rekha Jain, Lalita Bafna, Garvit Jain, Vivekanand Society and Sakhi Club.
