World Environment day was marked with utmost passion at the Head Office of Hindustan Zinc and tree plantation was carried out across different units in the organization.

Top officials of HZL including Sunil Duggal (Chief Operating Officer), Amitabh Gupta (Chief Financial Officer), Naveen Singhal (Senior Vice President), B.K Mahapatra (Vice President HR) along with the other employees of the company took part in the plantation drive.

Company officials shared their views on environment preservation and its importance and appealed everyone to contribute in their own capacity.

An awareness rally was also organized that included slogan writing, quiz, poster and essay competition on the subject of environment. Winners were awarded prizes by the Chief Guest.
