Hindustan Zinc Pledges Rs 1.5 Crore to Vande Ganga Initiative in Rajsamand
Hindustan Zinc partners with the government’s Vande Ganga mission for water conservation

Udaipur, June 19, 2025 – Under the government’s Vande Ganga initiative, a programme was organised in Rajsamand with Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma as the Chief Guest. The event was attended by government representatives, dignitaries and other guests.
Launched under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Vande Ganga initiative aims to adopt an integrated approach toward river rejuvenation, water conservation and water resource management.
Hindustan Zinc Limited has extended its support to this ambitious initiative of the Government of India. As part of its CSR activities, Hindustan Zinc has agreed to carry out work worth Rs 1.5 crore in Rajsamand district in support of the Vande Ganga programme being implemented by the government.
During the event, Balwant Singh Rathore, IBU CEO of Hindustan Zinc's Rajpura Dariba Complex, formally handed over the letter of agreement to the Chief Minister.
