Institutions of Engineers-Udaipur celebrates World Water Day
The Institutions of Engineers (India), Udaipur local center celebrated World Water Day on 22nd March at 6 PM at the auditorium. The chief guest of the event was Dr. N.S Rathore, former Vice Chancellor of S.K.N Agriculture University.
The Institutions of Engineers (India), Udaipur local center celebrated World Water Day on 22nd March at 6 PM at the auditorium. The chief guest of the event was Dr. N.S Rathore, former Vice Chancellor of S.K.N Agriculture University.
During the event, Rathore addressed the gathering saying that there is an ardent need in India to include scientific research and technology in the field of agriculture. Besides this, he elaborated about the areas in the world that uses state-of-the-art facilities in agriculture with minimum amount of water usage.
The main speaker Ashok Kumar Jain from Hindustan Zinc gave a presentation which highlighted different ways that can be implemented to save water in our daily lives. The other main speaker Engineer Durgesh Kumar Gaur from PHED shed a light on the demand of water in near future which could be more than 132 MLD.
Engineer Anil Mehta, also another chief speaker, Engineer A.S Chundawat, president of the institute and Engineer M.K Mathur also provided insights in concern to water conservation to 125 other students, guests and engineers present.
