The Population Services International (PSI) organized a ‘Janani Mahotsav’ in Udaipur from 24th February till 10th March that spread awareness message across women about various issues related to their health and family.

The Population Services International (PSI) organized a ‘Janani Mahotsav’ in Udaipur from 24th February till 10th March that spread awareness message across women about various issues related to their health and family. 

Gayatri Chauhan of the organization informed that the discussions were held at various women centers across Mallatalai, Savina, Machla Magra, Bedla and Neemachkheda. With mehandi competition and Faag Utsav messages of women health & empowerment and family planning were spread.

The organization celebrated International Women’s Day on 8th March with presentation of Nukkad Natak in areas of Savina, Mallatalai, Machla Magra and Neemachkheda. During the entire period of the campaign, around 1500 women were benefited with the cause.

Dhanendra Sharma and Kapil Kaushik of the organization said that the NGO is working to reduce the maternal mortality rate and disease rate. The Population Services International SI also strives to educate women about various family planning measures and aware them to maintain gap between two kids.
