Such women will be given number of options in which she will be given shelter apart from in-laws or parental house. The initiative is first of its kind across country which will be active within coming three months with a complete infrastructure and other legal formalities.

Devendra Agrawal said that, for availing its service, needy women will have to sign a declaration with institution along with her complete details, which would be kept secret from everyone except that of administrative authority.

Agrawal further added that India possesses biggest male oriented society which is heading to ever increasing crimes against women. These crimes have many forms; rapes, being harassed for dowry, pressurized for giving birth to male child while girl child is aborted in many cases.
