A grand ‘Kavi Samelan’ is to be organised under the banner of Lions Club Udaipur, Maharana and Maharana Lions Charitable Trust, on Sunday 17^th November 7 PM onwards at Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal. Well-known poets of country will come together including Surrendra Sharma and Munawar Rana.

On the eve before the event, organisers of the show interacting with local media and informed, “The motto behind the show is to raise fund for uplift of tribal residing around Udaipur city. Lions club is already working on the motto for the past few years, and has initiated many works with similar social causes.”

According to Rajesh Verma, Organising Head, Lions Club, added, “In ‘Kavi Samelan’, poets of all genre will participate, which includes humour, patriotic and shayari. Poets like Surrendra Sharma, Manik Verma, Shalini Sargam, Ashish Anaal, Sardar Manjeet Singh and Rao Ajat Shatru of Udaipur will recite poems throughout evening.”
