Madrasa students rallied to raise awareness for education among minorities

Initiated by Mahir Azad, President of Minority Commission the rally started from Collectorate. and concluded at the Chetak Mosque.
Mahir Azad while talking to UT about issues of Minority Educations said, “Our highest priority is to connect Madrasas to modern technology and to employ trained teachers. Udaipur will soon be gifted with a Minority Girls Hostel by Rajasthan Government”.
“The rally had students from various madrasahs in Udaipur who ran to raise awareness about education and its importance for a prosperous life”, informed Riyaz Hussain, Assistant Registrar of Shiksha Aapke Dwar.
Aziz Khan is a member of Anjuman-e-Talim-ul Islam, one of the organizations supporting the rally. “We want to ensure that no child is left illiterate within the catchment area of every Madrasa. This rally is the first step towards the goals of complete literacy among minorities”, said Khan.
