Mahesh Ashram, a local NGO is serving abandoned infants is now extends its service for Pre-Matured and under-weighing babies. In this initiative they inaugurated Intensive Care Unit (NICU) today at Mahesh Ashram campus.
Mahesh Ashram steps forward in a noble cause of caring babies left carelessly around various parts Udaipur. On the other side Ashram has became first across Rajasthan to start such service. The NICU is facilitated with all the ultramodern equipment required for better care of pre-matured or under weight infants.
According to Devendra Agrawal, Founder, Mahesh Ashram, “In this newly installed NICU at Ashram we can take care of 3 babies at a time. Other than that we also have equipped ashram with arrangements for kids between 7 months to 6 year-old. It can accommodate 50 children of various age composition at a point of time.
Devendra Agrawal added “Before we took initiative of taking care of these left away New-Borns, such babies witnessed death near waste boxes and sewerage canals around the town. It is a matter of extreme pleasure for me that I could a bit for their welfare.”
Agrawal further mentioned that if masses and administration supports then they would definitely provide their service across Rajasthan.
