MaitriManthan gives 5 run away Children Hope
In the time where India is struggling to curb the problems of child labor and right to education, Udaipur witnessed an eye opening situation where 5 minor children were found attempting suicide and were caught during lake patrolling at Dudh Talai.
In the time where India is struggling to curb the problems of child labor and right to education, Udaipur witnessed an eye opening situation where 5 minor children were found attempting suicide and were caught during lake patrolling at Dudh Talai.
Maitrimanthan, an NGO received the information about the 5 children in the morning and took them along. It was found that these kids had run away from their village Rishabhdeo as they were devoid of proper education and their parents forced them to earn. The 5 children complained of ill-treatment from their parents as well.
In the evening, Maitrimanthan took the children back to their village and found many problems such as poverty, transportation, electricity and education.
Seeing the plight of the village, the NGO decided to open a center in order to provide help in the form of study place and employment option to raise the standard of life. The children will be able to study residing at their village.
