Meera Girls students to take part in 'WAMA Saksham'
Meera Girls College has initiated a 50-day special program for teaching self defense to women. All college students have taken part in the program which is named ‘WAMA Saksham’.
Meera Girls College has initiated a 50-day special program for teaching self defense to women. All college students have taken part in the program which is named ‘WAMA Saksham’.
A meeting was held today at college auditorium under the direction of Savita Joshi, principal of the college. The classes will start from tomorrow 11th Jan. The training workshop includes personal development, presentation, self defense techniques, strength etc.
Savita Joshi informed that the program is financially backed by department of TRI (Tribal Research Institute) and Higher Education Department. Both organizations has given Rs. 5 Lac and Rs.3 Lac respectively.
Sports In charge Akshay Shukla informed that, Harish Sanwariya will train Martial Arts while Bulit Moga will teach Yoga and Abhishek Joshi is for Aerobics.
