With joint efforts by Jheel Mitra Sansthan, Jheel Sarakshan Samiti, Dr. Mohan Singh Mehta Memorial Trust and Abhinav Senior School, an awareness rally was carried out which spread the message of stop wastage of food and water.

Slogans such as ‘Itna hi lo Thali me-vyarth na jaye nail me’ echoed in the streets of the city alongside distribution of pamphlets to people. The rally commenced from Chandpol and ended at Ganguar Ghat.

Organizer Tej Shanker Paliwal held an oath taking ceremony in which people were asked to not to waste food. Special message was spread to avoid food wastage to indirectly affect in environmental conservation.
