MMVS kids spread 'Khushi'

In one of the cheerful news today, twenty four child leaders of Maharana Mewar Vidya Mandir (MMVM) School visited the Anganvadi, a Child Welfare Centre at Debari run by Hindustan Zinc and Vedanta Foundation and met under-privileged children. The event was organized under ‘Vedanta Khushi’ Campaign.

The event was organized under ‘Vedanta Khushi’ Campaign.

For this occasion, children from MMVM prepared vivid programs and presented them in front of the kids.

Two girls from MMVS, Anchal and Pranjal saved some amount from their own pocket-money and presented gifts to the kids and felicitated the employees of the welfare centre.

This was a joyful event for kids from MMVS as well as for the host kids from welfare centre.

‘Vedanta Khushi’ is a campaign whose motive is to spread awareness, care and a sense of responsibility for the poor and under-privileged kids among the general public. ‘Vedanta Khushi’ program commenced in April 2012 with a Khushi blog  and a Facebook page.

Many schools, colleges and opinion makers have been associated with this campaign, number of their members has crossed the figure of 10,000. The blog is also touching 30,000 page views in just 4 months of time. The campaign has so far conducted 10 debates on nutrition, health and education of underprivileged children.
