On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi where most of the kids were seen clad in new clothes, many kids like Ramu were seen on the streets, outside temples asking for alms.
Gayatri Seva Sansthan, Nari Utthan Samiti and Police administration collaboratively worked towards beggar free movement in the city and worked towards removing the beggars from the temple premises. Also, the devotees were asked to not to give money to the beggars.
The movement was supported by volunteers of Gayatri Seva Sansthan including social worker Naseem Bano, Ishwar Singh Chauhan and constables of Pratap Nagar police station.
