Nanhe Haath, the initiative continues
The initiative of State Government and UNICEF – Nanhe Hath Kalam Ke Sath reached Gorana and Chandvaas Village, Jhadol in its quest to convince parents to send their kids to schools, bringing the total number of kids in schools to 64.
The initiative of State Government and UNICEF – Nanhe Hath Kalam Ke Sath reached Gorana and Chandvaas Village, Jhadol in its quest to convince parents to send their kids to schools, bringing the total number of kids in schools to 64.
Kanhaya Lal Gameti, Sarpanch, Gorana; Gulzari Lal, Secretary and Hanuman Singh, Assistant Secretary helped carvan to find 39 kids detached from education and succeded in convincing guardians and brought 34 of them to school.
Same was done in Chandvaas with the help of Geeta Devi, Sarpanch, Shankar Lal, Secretary who brought three kids to school, and they tried to convince parents of 62 kids.
The Carvan group demonstrated the government schemes and presented Nukkad Natak (play) and Kathputli (puppet show) for motivating the education factor amongst localites.
The group also helped Sita, a widow to file her Widow-Pension Form and Bhera to file his Old Age-Pension Form. They also presented Oil Paintings in their Caravan vehicle to inform them of various beneficial schemes.
