HDS held breast cancer awareness campaign at Rajasthan Hospital Udaipur for the nurses and staff members on September 11, 2015.

The campaign activities involved training to the nurses and staff members to teach their patients early self breast examination method. This is the latest in a series of seminars by HDS where the nurses were also told about the benefits of breast milk over bottles as part of their ‘Breast is Best’ Initiative.

During the seminar the staff members were informed about the self examination method that could help cut death rates dramatically by detecting Breast Cancer in the very early stages. This campaign helped the NGO enlighten the nurses the existence of such early detection method. HDS assured that this information be passed on to other females was well.

HDS shall be holding the same campaign at rural places in Rajasthan on September 27, 2015 with a translator to spread maximum awareness on this subject.
