“I had blues but I had no shoes until upon a street, I met a man who had no feet”.

Every child has a hope that God is not yet discouraged of man. With this thought, the volunteers and members of AIESEC Udaipur, the largest student run organization in the world, took its first steps, by spreading happiness to around 100 underprivileged children in Udaipur.

Few students who are running AIESEC operations in the city partnered with various NGO’s like Foster Care India for their first pre-event of “Balakalakaar- Celebrating Innocence”.

The AIESECers along with enthusiastic volunteers stayed bare feet for the whole day and went to Nala-Phala Aanganwadi School. There, they gathered the children and organised various activities like dancing, singing, painting, drawing and various other games. They brought smiles to their faces by celebrating the gift of life with them.

The main event, called “Balakalakaar- Celebrating Innocence”, will be held on 3^rd August 2014 which will see the participation of 300 unprivileged children. The event is powered by the famous media channel Dainik Bhaskar, which would do its part by distributing stationery items to all of the underprivileged children.

AIESEC is a global youth-run organization that develops leadership capabilities through their internal leadership programs and engages students and graduates in international student exchange and internship programs. The organization also believes in social issues and takes initiative to create awareness about it.
