In celebration of Mother’s Day, Divye Mother Milk Bank, which was established in 2013 announced that it has collected 12,616 units mother’s milk since inception.

The feat was achieved with the help of over 1954 mothers who voluntarily donated their milk in the facility. The milk donated was used to take care of over 1005 children in ICU of hospitals in the last year.

Divye Mother Bank was established by Maa Bhagwati Sansthan, which has now initiated Human Milk Bank Services for the Community. With this initiative milk will also be provided to other hospitals and also to the mothers who are not able to feed their child, their own milk.
