Public Awareness, key to wipe out Child Labor: Mangilal Garasia
“Nanhe Haath Kalam ke Saath”, a movement against Child Labor, initiated by the Gayatri Seva Sansthan, Udaipur and sponsored by UNICEF organized an awareness meet in Sararha Tehsil today. The Chief Guest for the meeting was Mangilal Garasia, Minister of Labor, Rajasthan.
“Nanhe Haath Kalam ke Saath”, a movement against Child Labor, initiated by the Gayatri Seva Sansthan, Udaipur and sponsored by UNICEF organized an awareness meet in Sararha Tehsil today. The Chief Guest for the meeting was Mangilal Garasia, Minister of Labor, Rajasthan.
The movement is an effort to discourage child labor and encourage the importance of education in children and families.
Garasia in his address to the people said, “Public awareness is the key to the wiping out Child Labor from our Society.”
The main motive of the movement is to fight for the right of education of the children between the ages of 6-14 years. This big movement also aims to fight against Child Labor.
The issue of equal education opportunities for both girls and boys was also raised in the event by Reshma Devi Meena, Pradhan Panchayat Samiti, Salumbhar.
Laxminarayan Pandya, Founder, Gayatri Seva Sansthan thanked everyone to join them for the noble cause. He said, “If such joint efforts of the government and NGO’s are taken into action, we can then fight child labor.”
The rally in Sararha Tehsil was joined by men, women, children, adults, representatives of various social groups, officials and many social workers.
The program was also attended by Mohanlal Audichya, Jila Parishad member; Bhanwarlal Meena, Tahesildar Sararha; Kailashdhan Jugnawat, Deputy S.P. Salumbhar and other administrative officials.
