PUKAAR – The group claims to have cleaned more than 10 public parks in HiranMagri area and planted more than 500 trees. The group consists of both young students and children.

Besides various government and non government projects going on for the beautification and cleanliness of the city, another group of local youth are working on the mission ‘Clean and Green Udaipur’ from past one year.

PUKAAR – The group claims to have cleaned more than 10 public parks in Hiran Magri area and planted more than 500 trees. The group consists of both young students and children.

BhuneshOjha, founder of Pukaar informed, “We have recently introduced a project, Monsoon Planning. The project will be of 15 days and selected parks will be cleaned during that.”

Ojha said, “On Sunday the group’s volunteers cleaned park at sector 14 I-Block which was a garbage dumping ground. The park was covered with trash and wild bushes which made it impossible for kids to play.”

With the volunteers of Pukaar, few aware local residents took the responsibility of cleaning the park and also did plantation.

Colony residents Shanta Sharma, Nidhi Purohit, Puspa Visht, Madhu Nishad, Saroj Swami, Neha Purohit and kids Parth, Ishan, Suresh and Jayesh contributed for the cause.

On the same day, Pukaar members also cleaned park at K-Block and then did plantation at Goverdhan Vilas Park and another at sector-5.

The team members Ayush Maheshwari, Abdul Mubin Khan, MrinalKumawat, Harshvardhan Singh, Divya Ranawat, Taruna, Komal, Rekha Sisodia, Amit Shrimali, Jigyasu, Jatin, PriyankAgarwal, Hemant Agarwal, Kumar Bhargava, Meghna, Megha and Monika took part in the cleaning drive.
