Forum Malls in association with NIMHANS – is proud to announce 2nd edition of “The Purple Run” on 30th September 2018. India’s biggest run to raise awareness about Alzheimer’s across 7 Forum Malls in 6 cities – Udaipur, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mysore, Mangalore and Chennai at the same time for one single cause – Alzheimer’s.

Alzheimer’s is the 5th leading cause of death in people over 55 years old, and in India, more than 4 million people suffer from some form of dementia. Despite this, there’s a stigma attached to mental illness amongst us.

“Forum Purple Run” mission is to raise awareness about Alzheimer’s, and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of mental health. Our vision is a world without Alzheimer’s. Forum Purple Run offers the running distances of 3 km (Family Run), 5 km, 10 km and the half marathon distance of 21km across all 7 malls, giving each participant an opportunity to contribute to a cause of their choice.

On 30^th September, the run will start at 5:45 AM from Forum Celebration Mall Udaipur and will take the route towards New University road via RK Circle, Shobagpura Circle, New RTO 100 Feet Road.

All the registered participants are requested to collect the timing chips and T-shirts on 28^th an 29^th Sept. from the Atrium Floor of the mall.
