29th May 2017 was arguably one of the saddest days for Udaipur…as Four year old Chahak, the youngest member of a visiting tourist family, met her untimely demise, when a speed boat driver showcasing his boating skills, hit a motor boat in Fatehsagar lake…proving fatal for the innocent Chahak.
All of Udaipur was shocked at this incident, which reflected badly on the tourism image of the city of lakes. The death of a little girl was all the more heart wrenching, as it was with joy and innocence that this little girl accompanied her parents and friends to Udaipur on a trip, the very first day of it, proving deadly for her.
Radio City, Udaipur’s youngest FM Station, had some feelers going within their community after this incident. Their in-house jingle team came up with a simulated voice message dedicated to the late little Chahak, and spread this audio all across social media, with an aim to make the city realize the severity of what had happened, and how it can be prevented in future.
