While, various institutions both Government and Public celebrated Republic Day and hoisted Indian Flag on their respective official buildings, Mahesh Seva Samiti of Udaipur also invited their members not just for the flag hoisting ceremony, but also organized a blood donation camp at their registered office in Sector 5, Hiran Magri.

Scores of members of the Samiti attended the flag hoisting ceremony and later joined for the voluntary blood donation. A total of 53 units of blood were collected through the participation of Samiti members.

After the blood donation, a refreshment treat was also provided to the donors. According to the spokesperson of the Samiti, the blood donation camp and the refreshments were sponsored by Lahoti family.
