In a shocking and cruel act done by humans, a frightening dog was found near Shahi Bagh, Sector 11 on 25th Nov whose foot was crushed in an animal trap and the dog was running in agony with the heavy metal trap dangling from its injured leg.

In a shocking and cruel act done by humans, a frightening dog was found near Shahi Bagh, Sector 11 on 25th Nov whose foot was crushed in an animal trap and the dog was running in agony with the heavy metal trap dangling from its injured leg.

Jaswant Singh resident of that area called Animal Aid workers who rescued the dog from its excruciating pain. The ambulance reached the spot and found the dog in a lot of pain and frightened. It was hiding in the bushes and as soon as it saw the rescuers, it ran away fast. Luckily, a few minutes later it came back and the rescuer Jagdish Chand caught it in the net, just before it tried to run away.

It was taken to the animal aid shelter where it was found that its toes had been severely injured, to the extent that it had to be amputated to allow the dog to live again. Next day, Dr. Gyan Prakash, veterinary surgeon from Kota operated successfully.

The dog is currently recovering and gaining strength in the shelter house. However, it is unable to trust people due to the mishap that the workers sit around it regularly to gain its trust.
