Adding to the efforts of sending relief to Nepal earthquake victims, youngsters of Suhalka community collected over Rs. 50,000 with the help of a Whatsapp group.

As informed by Himanshu Suhalka, “We have a group of ‘Youngsters of Suhalka Samaj’ on Whatsapp where the group members initiated the drive to collect funds for Nepal earthquake victims.”

“In 48 hours we collected Rs. 52,000 in this initiative. Community members from all over India are part of this Whatsapp group and these members were given option to submit the amount in-person or send amount to a member’s account”, he added.

The Demand Draft of the amount is prepared and will be handed over to the new collector, Rohit Gupta in coming days.
