92.7 BIG FM in association with Total Oil India Pvt. Ltd.’s month-long campaign ‘Total Quartz Safety Month’ concluded today with Total Quartz Safety Run at 7:30 am from start of Fateh Sagar (Kala kiwad Swaroop Sagar- Fatehsagar Link) till the Paal.

Various dignitaries of Udaipur city attended and ran as well in public interest to promote road safety. Zila Pramukh, Madhu Mehta and RTO Jitendra Singh along with Forest Conservator N. C. Jain flagged off the 1.5 km run.

The whole of the event was conducted by BIG FM RJ-Jeet. On the occasion, all the dignitaries spoke few words about the road safety and its seriousness. N. C. Jain, said, “People of Udaipur should start thinking now, and we should imbibe such value in ourselves that there should be no need for a lecture on cleanliness, general health, hygiene and safety”.

Jain also said that along with the road safety we should also think about our environment and ecology and develop values for conservation of these natural resources.

The Total Quartz Safety Month campaign has touched upon multiple aspects relating to road safety including safe driving tips, highlighting the dangers of drunken driving and talking on the phone while driving. The campaign witnessed support from traffic authorities, legal experts, doctors, police and victims of accidents from drunken driving from across the country. .

Speaking about the Total Quartz Safety Run, a 92.7 BIG FM spokesperson said, “Over the course of the past month, 92.7 BIG FM listeners from across the country have pledged solidarity to the cause of road safety. We are really proud of the results we have achieved thus far, and hope that this effort we have undertaken with Total Oil will continue to garner support from Indians across the country.”
