Udaipur all set for Cyclothon, Wild Life Week to end tomorrow
Concluding the 58TH Wild Life Week on Sunday 7th Oct, Udaipur will observe its first cycle marathon “Cylothon” at Fateh Sagar organized by Forest Department of Udaipur in association with Pacific College. Hundreds of organizations, both social and government are going to participate in this one of its kind event to promote cycling.
Concluding the 58TH Wild Life Week on Sunday 7th Oct, Udaipur will observe its first cycle marathon “Cylothon” at Fateh Sagar organized by Forest Department of Udaipur in association with Pacific College. Hundreds of organizations, both social and government are going to participate in this one of its kind event to promote cycling.
The day also has Walk-For-Nature event for other participants.
Dr. N.C. Jain (Chief Conservator Forest, WildLife) said that the program will start at 7:00 am sharp for the cyclist and 7:30am for Walk- for- Nature’s participants.
The modalities for the events is being supervised by the department. Jain emphasized that the participants should come on time and should not take this event as a racing competition, he said that “all the nesessary measures are being taken by the department for the program to run smoothly”.
He also added that proper announcements for rules and regulations governing the events will be made by the Department Officials before beginning of both the events.
There is also an arrangement of medical team to take care of any health issues that arises amongst the the participants during the events.
He also said that “the closing ceremony and prize distribution will be at Mohan Lal Sukhadiya University’s auditorium”.
