For the first time in India, a nationwide march took place across 17 cities including Udaipur that aimed to sensitize people to the fact that animals are individuals like us who deserve freedom, not commodification; when we use animal products and their services we rob them of their deeply cherished freedom.
The march began from Luv Kush Stadium, near Gandhi Ground at 6 PM that traveled across Chetak, Swaroop Sagar and reached Fateh Sagar at 7 PM.
District organizer Ashutosh Mehta informed that this in this nationwide rally, more than 50 animal lovers participated spreading this noble message. The march catered around speciesism and it’s the responsibility of humans to fight against this effectively and repeatedly.
The acute misery inflicted on animals every year all over India is unnecessary and inexcusable. To put an end to their misery and spread this message to all, irrespective of their background, this march was conducted to achieve maximum impact for the animals.
