Heartily thanks to those who contributed for the noble cause of saving a seriously ailing young man of Udaipur who is awaiting Bone Marrow Transplant.
A month ago we came to know about Abhishek Jain, resident of Udaipur and currently based in Hyderabad. Abhishek Jain (AJ) is suffering from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and need to undergo Bone Marrow Transplant which will cost him whopping Rs.50 Lacs.
Several fund raising attempts were taken place in Hyderabad and even the ace cricketer Irfan Pathan came forward to help AJ but unfortunately no such attempt was taken place from AJ’s hometown Udaipur.
Through UT we started a small fund raising program and within a month many UT readers from all walks of life and from all over the world came forward to help AJ. From Rs. 500 to Rs. 10,000 our readers have happily and selflessly contributed whatever they can for this noble cause and deposited the fund in AJ’s bank account.
Though slowly but the fund raised through UT touched the mark of Rs.80,000. On behalf of AJ and his family we thank all those who came forward to help this young and lively Udaipurite who is fighting cancer.
AJ still requires financial help and we request everyone who is capable of helping him to add whatever they can. So far, from all possible sources, around Rs. 15 Lacs have been raised for Abhishek Jain, as informed by his father Prakash Jain.
Please go through this link to know more about current fund raised and other information about AJ.
