Living the true spirit of Diwali, Wonder Cement lit up the life of the under-privileged by becoming a partner in fight against social discrimination faced by HIV infected children, sheltered and protected by Ashray Care Home, a non-government organization in Jaipur.
Team from Wonder Cement organized a pre-Diwali evening at Ashray Care Home for the children who were orphaned by the death of their HIV infected parents.
Arun Sharma, DGM-Marketing, Wonder Cement and his team of dealers distributed gifts and sweets to the children. They were also treated to a puppet show. The evening culminated as fireworks and sparkle lighted up the sky – and even the spirits of the children. A Diwali dinner was also organized on the occasion.
Vivek Patni, Director-Marketing, Wonder Cement, said that Diwali is an auspicious occasion when we can give back to the society what we get from it. It gives immense pleasure to celebrate Diwali with the underprivileged and to be able to give them a reason to smile, added Vivek.
Shushila, founder, Aashray Care Home, lauded the efforts of Wonder Cement for coming forward to make it a Diwali to remember for the children.
