As per reports, almost 70 percent of big hotels of Udaipur have been booked for the New Year celebrations. The reason behind this is that the international flights are not operating and all those who used to fly abroad for the celebrations are now preferring Udaipur as their next best destination. The department of tourism informed that tourists from Maharashtra, Delhi and Gujarat are interested in partying in Udaipur and tour operators are also making enquiries for the same.

If we go by the information received, star category hotels like Laxmi Vilas, Radisson Blu, Leela, Udai Vilas have their rooms booked to the extent of 70 percent. 90 percent occupancy is expected in the coming days. This is a good indication for the hotel industry that has suffered a lot during the past pandemic months. The hotels have also arranged special packages of 2N/3D.

It may also be noted that the hotels are quite vigilant and have made all prior arrangements for safeguarding at their own end. The relevant safety measures have been stocked up so that the staff serving food and beverages can use them and ensure the safety of the guests. It has also been brought to notice that the tourists coming in are mostly interested in star category hotels and these are the tourists who have been well informed that all precautionary measures will be taken care of. Also that Goa is also one of the attractions for the tourists as far as celebrations are concerned but Udaipur is still unbeatable. The party mood begins with the Christmas eve and carries on further to the year end.

Udaipur has actually become one of the most searched destinations for the New Year celebrations. People are even enquiring about the various tourist spots that the city is well known for and are interested in energising themselves after a long spell of lockdown in the past.
