On the occasion of Amalaki Ekadashi a number of activities were organised at Jagdish Temple and Gangu Kund. This very day is marked as pre-celebration of Holi festival according to Hindu calendar, where devotees applied colours on idols of Lord Krishna, while others took holy Bath organised at Gangu Kund.

Today, in the pre-celebration of Holi, Raj Bhog was offered to Lord Krishna at Jagdish Temple, moreover, since past 15 days starting from Basant Panchmi to Rang Panchmi the idol is presented with Raj Bhog along in varied colours. Amalaki Ekadashi is belived to be the last day of Rang Panchmi and hence is celebrated with immense zeal.

According to Pandit Damodar Dinkar, on this day holy songs related to Holi is sung by the devotees, while playing holi in temple, whereas a special dance is also presented by the people on music of Chang (Traditional Music Instrument).

Similarly, devotees carried out holy rituals at Gangu Kund and took holy bath, variety of food items and fruits were also offered to the God by way of Annkut, in which large number of devotees participated.
