Ashwini Bazaar left Undecorated Due to Fund Crisis

This Diwali when almost every nuke and corner of Udaipur is shining bright with lights and various decorative items, Ashwini Bazaar Vayapar Mandal dropped the idea of decorating the roads and their outlets, reason behind is deficiency of funds with the association.

Ashwini Bazaar Vayapar Mandal constitutes more than 120 shops on the single side of the main road connecting Hathipol and Delhi gate circle.

Among the 120 shops of the market, around 100 contributed specifically for the decoration on Diwali, these contributions were Rs.4000 per business men, while the estimated expense over decoration is approximately 6 lacs, including lighting, cultural performances and gifts etc.

The accumulated amount of Rs. 4 lacs kept the association in deficit of 2 lacs.

“Insufficiency of funds with the association is the main reason behind undecorated market, hopefully some attractive decoration can be seen along the market in coming year”, said Jayesh Champawat, President of Aswini Bazaar Vayapar Mandal.

Anees Miya Ji, Secretary of Aswini Bazaar Vayapar Mandal said, “Association is overlooking decoration this year, so that sufficient fund can be accumulated for the coming years”.
